Salmon Arm residents can expect minor road delays this week with multiple road closures scheduled.
2 St. SE and the alley between Okanagan Ave and 2 Ave. SE will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for road paving.
15 Ave. SE between 10 St. SE and 15 St. SE will be closed due to paving work starting Wednesday, Sept. 10 until Thursday, Sept. 11.
The closure will take place from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Expect single-lane traffic during these hours, and street parking will not be allowed.
Another closure will take place on 50 St. NW at 44 Ave due to a new culvert installation. This closure will take place on Sept. 10 until Sept 12.
From 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. there will be no through traffic. Local residents will permitted access to 44 Ave NW from south of the work zone along 50 St. NW.
The City is reminding drivers the traffic north of the work zone must travel north to access the highway, and the same goes for drivers travelling south.
For all closures, expect minor delays and plan alternate routes.
