Police trying to locate stolen vehicle

Salmon Arm RCMP are on the look out for a stolen vehicle.

On Aug. 31, RCMP received a report of a gated compound that had been compromised at a local auto repair business.

When police arrived on scene, they learned that a large gate had been damaged, and a red 2008 Toyota Tundra was stolen. A few days later on Sept. 2, police received a report of a the vehicle driving dangerously in the Skimikin Lake area.

Police were unsuccessful locating a matching vehicle after patrolling the area. Since then, police have learned that the stolen Toyota Tundra may have been spray painted grey.

Anyone with information regarding the incident, or observes a spray-painted Toyota Tundra is asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP.
