Salmon Arm moving back to Stage 1 water restrictions start of next month

The City of Salmon Arm will be moving from Stage 2 back to Stage 1 water restrictions starting Wednesday.

Starting Oct. 1, residents will be permitted to water three days per week based on residents’ addresses. Watering is only allowed 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

For automatic systems, it is preferred that they are scheduled from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The City uses these multi-stage water restrictions for outdoor water use to manage demand and maintain sufficient supply during the summer months.
