Pink ribbons will be hung from trees around downtown, with storefronts creating their own pink displays to join the campaign.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place in October. According to BC Women’s Health Foundation, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancers, as well as the second leading cause of cancer-related death among women living in Canada.
