The Barenaked Ladies to perform throughout the Shuswap

The Canadian rock band, Barenaked Ladies is coming to the Shuswap this December.

The band will be making multiple stops on their 27th annual CPKC Holiday Train tour.

The tour will run from Nov. 19 to Dec. 21, raising money to alleviate food insecurity and awareness across Canada and the U.S. Bands such as the Barenaked Ladies will be performing free concerts on the train stage. The CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and has collected around 5.4 million pounds of food for food banks across Canada and the U.S.

The band will perform in Salmon Arm, Canoe, Sicamous, Chase and Notch Hill from Dec. 17 to Dec. 18.

According to CPKC, the Barenaked Ladies will be making stops at:

Dec. 17:

  • Sicamous – Highway 1 & Silver Sand Road from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Canoe – 50 Street & Canoe Beach Drive from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
  • Salmon Arm – 51 Lake Shore Drive NE from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Notch Hill – 1639 Notch Hill Road from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Dec. 18:

  • Chase – Shuswap Avenue & Ash Drive from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Other performers include American Authors, Brittany Kennell, Dylan Marlowe, Jade Eaglesoe, JJ Wilde, LANCO, Pynk Beard, Smash Mouth, Teigan Gayse, Tiera Kennedy and Tyler Shaw. They will be performing throughout other parts of Canada.
