The School District 83 North Okanagan-Shuswap is joining schools across Canada in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week.
The District’s transportation team transports almost 3000 students every day to and from school.
“Their safety remains our highest priority. As drivers, parents, and community members, we each have a responsibility to help protect them,” the District said.
They are reminding drivers to stop for buses displaying flashing red lights.
