Future of Enderby’s Barnes Park up for discussion

Residents of Enderby are being asked to share their views on the future of Barnes Park.

The Enderby and District Services Commission is seeking input on the big picture questions, and the design of the park over the next five, 10 or even 20 years.

The commission is posing two key questions:

  • “Do we need replaced, different, or enhanced amenities to meet current and future needs at Barnes Park?”
  • “What should we do with the space where the existing Lions Outdoor Pool is located, once it is decommissioned?

Elected officials will consider all feedback, alongside the best practices for park design, financial feasibility and existing policies for the park’s concept plan.

If interested in providing feedback, submissions are being accepted through the City Survey.

Paper copies of the survey are also available at City Hall, the Visitor Centre and the Enderby Library. The deadline to submit is Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026.
