Salmon Arm advises of downtown road closures for Loud and Proud festival

The City of Salmon Arm is advising residents and visitors that several downtown roads will be temporarily closed this weekend to accommodate the Loud and Proud Arts and Awareness Festival and Parade.

On Saturday, June 6, Lakeshore Drive, Shuswap Street, Hudson Avenue and McLeod Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon.

The city has provided a map showing the affected roads.

City staff said drivers should plan ahead for a busy downtown morning.
