Sicamous is partnering with the Sicamous Museum and Historical Society to host their Community Connections Club Fair next week

More water interruptions will be expected this week for residents on Riverside Avenue and Temple Street as the watermain replacement project takes its next big step.

Some Sicamous residents will experience water disruptions today, as the next steps of the Riverside Avenue watermain replacement projects continues.

The District of Sicamous is notifying residents of an eight-hour long power outage on Oct. 4. 

The District of Sicamous had announced the date and time for the memorial service for former Fire Chief, Brett Ogino who passed away on Aug. 20.

The District of Sicamous is reminding the public about rail safety this week, alongside Operations Lifesaver Inc. and CPKC to ensure people are practicing safe behaviours when it comes to train tracks.

There will be a community ribbon cutting at the Rail Trail to celebrate the reopening of the Splatsin te Secwépemc / Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail along Mara Lake, beginning at Kilometre Bridge and accessible at Kilometre 0.5.
