A man has been arrested following an assault in Salmon Arm.
Police said they responded to a report from a woman who said she had been kicked in the chest by a man she knew. Officers attended the woman’s home, but the man had left in a blue Dodge Ram pickup.
Later that day, officers returned to the home, located the man and arrested him. He was charged with one count of assault and one count of driving while prohibited.
