Dock installation delays at Sorrento’s new two boat docks

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District said there has been a delay in dock installation at two Sorrento boat launches.

In a statement, the CSRD said despite the delay, docks are still expected to be installed by mid-June at the Harbour Road and Markwart Road boat launches.

In the meantime, residents are asked to use the Whitehead Road boat launch at 4325 Whitehead Rd. or boat launches with docks available at local private marinas.

Vista Radio reached out to the CSRD for comment on the reason for the delay and is awaiting a response.
