Salmon Arm RCMP ask for help finding missing Canoe man

Salmon Arm RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding a 56-year-old man who went missing from his family’s home early Friday.

Police said Dwight Trottier was last seen at the home on 73rd Avenue NE in Canoe. Investigators believe he left sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Trottier is described as 180 centimetres (five feet 11 inches) tall and 73 kilograms (161 pounds), with balding brown hair, a full greying beard and blue eyes. He may have been wearing a grey hoodie.

Police said he is believed to be driving a grey-blue 2013 GMC Sierra crew-cab pickup with B.C. licence plate WR5676.
