A Merritt man was arrested after allegedly causing a disturbance at a Sicamous gas station, where police say he was punching his dashboard and throwing items from his truck.
Police said the 31-year-old man, believed to be under the influence of unknown drugs, was found inside his parked vehicle at a local gas station.
“The man was actively punching the dash of his vehicle and throwing items out of the open window,” said Sgt. Murray McNeil, spokesperson for the Sicamous RCMP.
Police said officers arrested the man and took him into custody to sober up. He was later transported to Shuswap Lake General Hospital for treatment.
