UPDATE: Enderby water quality advisory officially lifts this morning

Enderby residents can resume normal water use following the early announcement from the City of Enderby officially lifting the 10-day precautionary water quality advisory.

The water treatment plant has returned to normal operations and the distribution system has completed a full water turnover.

The advisory was issued on March 2 due to emergency repairs at the city’s water treatment plant and was supposed to last three to five days. Due to cloudiness in the water following the completing of those repairs, the advisory was extended until March 12.

The City said residents who chose to boil water during the 10 days can run cold water taps for three to five minutes to endure freshwater is pulled through their internal plumbing.

“The City of Enderby thanks the community for their cooperation and patience throughout the emergency repair and recovery process,” the update read.
