CSRD outdoor rinks delayed opening due to weather conditions

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) announced that their outdoor ice rinks will have a delayed opening due to the warmer temperatures.

The ice rinks include Farrell’s Field at 5051 Meadow Creek Rd,  Silver Creek Community Park at 1577 Salmon River Rd, and Parson Community Park at 3612 Hwy 95.

The CSRD said they plan to operate three outdoor rinks if the weather cools down. They added that the Sorrento-Blind Bay Park rink will be closed during the winter season due to the unavailability of a contractor.

The CSRD will provide updates on their outdoor ice rinks page on their website.
