Avian influenza has been detected at a commercial poultry operation in Salmon Arm, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said.
The CIFA said the infection was discovered over the weekend on Nov. 1.
The agency reported 13 influenza outbreaks at commercial poultry operations in B.C. in less than one month. The majority of infected locations were found in the Lower Mainland.
There has been no new information since the report was made by the agency.
