Shoemaker Hill closed until Wednesday

Shoemaker Hill will be closed until Wednesday for milling and paving.

The City of Salmon Arm public works department advised drivers this morning of the temporary road closure.

10th Avenue SE, 5th Street SE and Shoemaker Hill, along with westbound access past Auto Road at the Crystal Springs interchange, are closed until April 23 at 4 p.m.

The city said detours are available via Old Auto Road using 12th Street SE, and local residents will be permitted access.

Delays are expected.
