The Columbia Shuswap Regional District said the water quality advisory in Sorrento was lifted effective Friday morning.
In a post, the CSRD said water testing confirmed water from the Sorrento Water System is now safe to consume directly from the tap.
The CSRD thanked water users for their patience and attention during the watermain flushing process.
The Cedar Heights Water System remains under a boil-water notice until testing confirms the water is safe to consume.
The CSRD said water users on that system should continue to take precautions.
