Safe bet: RCMP seeks owner of locked find

The Salmon Arm RCMP hopes to return a safe to its owner.

On July 6, police found a locked digital combination safe in Peter Jannink Park.

Police said the safe is believed to have been stolen, but no owner has reported it to the RCMP.

Anyone who believes they own the safe is asked to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044. Callers should be prepared to prove ownership by opening the safe using the correct combination.

Police have provided a photo of the recovered safe.
