Salmon Arm city council is looking to improve their booking process for city-owned recreational facilities.
The City made an announcement online saying they have added more available recreation spaced in the Shuswap Recreation Society’s booking system.
Pickleball and tennis courts and batting cages at Klahani Park have been added, as well as tennis courts at Jackson School, multi-use courts at Shuswap Middle School and the gazebos at South Canoe, Blackburn Park and Canoe beach.
“These updates support easier planning for community groups, programs & events, while maintaining public access when spaces are not reserved,” the City said on the post.
A follow-up update with booking fees and next steps will be shared later in February.
