Looking to dispose your Christmas tree after the holidays?
Sorrento residents can have their real Christmas trees chipped and disposed of during the Charity Chipping event on Jan. 10, 2026.
Hosted by Trees and Company Arborist Services, the event will take place at the Cedar Heights Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event gives residents an opportunity to support local hiking and biking trails by disposing of a tree in exchange for a donation to the Shuswap Trail Alliance.
